Our Team

We are a small-but-fierce group of Boston-based educators, activists, and former day-school kids working to build a world animated by justice. Together, we have over a decade of experience in teaching within and beyond Jewish communities, intergenerational community organizing, research, organizational leadership, and curriculum development.

Some of our experience includes, but is not limited to:

  • Special education for middle school math

  • Queer pedagogy for Jewish text study

  • Public school education (elementary)

  • Jewish day school education - elementary through high school (Hebrew, Aramaic, Tanakh, Talmud, Jewish thought, Tefillah (and more))

  • Supplementary Jewish education

  • Adult Jewish education

  • Curriculum design

  • Research in civics education

  • Research in feminist Talmud study

  • Certification in conflict resolution

  • DEIJ facilitation

  • Lead tutoring for literacy development

  • Nonprofit founding, strategy, and fundraising

  • Organizing in Palestinian solidarity work, immigrant justice, housing justice, youth organizing, equity in education, and more

For digital security purposes, we have chosen not to share our names and bios. This will shift as we get closer to becoming operational. If you’d like to speak one-on-one with a member of our team, please contact info@achvatolam.org.
