Our Values

Love is a guiding principle of what we do, who we are, and how we operate. It is more than an ideal, but a heart-centered practice of radical care, empathy, and mutual accountability. Love informs how we enact change, how we repair relationships, how we build a workplace, and how we show up for our school families, our communities, our planet, and ourselves.

We humbly pursue justice as a dynamic, enduring practice rooted in our inherent responsibility for one another. In the office, in the classroom, on the playground, around the neighborhood and beyond, we work to dismantle the compounding systems of power and oppression that hurt us, and commit to practicing the world we want to see – a world in which relationships are deep, harm is tended, and dignity is centered.

Every individual in our school community is a lifelong learner and teacher whose unique spirit is a site of wisdom and guidance. Through multi-sensory and multidisciplinary learning that integrates Jewish tradition and justice values, we will harness our students’ natural curiosity, support them to imagine a radically just future, and equip them with the skills to shape it.

Jewish tradition is a living treasure trove of diverse texts, rituals, languages, and cultures that engage our whole selves, and root us in identity, spirituality, and purpose. Ancient and contemporary Jewish wisdom guides our operations, empowers our students to fully own their heritage, and inspires them to transform it as they transform themselves, their communities, and, ultimately, our world.

We understand community as a cornerstone of human thriving. Everyone who passes through our doors shares in the collective responsibility to proactively nurture a culture of warmth, community care, and reciprocity where everyone is tended to, valued, and celebrated.
